Grain Free Apple Crisp
This is a family favorite, recreated with the goodness of grain free flours, without sacrificing flavor! Enjoy! Remember that oven times may vary, so check this often. Nut flours can burn easily, so if your oven runs hot, keep a close eye on it or turn down the heat. I chose to use butter and palm shortening, but you could just do all butter (1 stick instead of half a stick). Also, if you are not grain free and want to create this – the traditional family recipe calls for 1 cup of flour of your choice. You could try to do 1/2 cup whole grain flour and 1/2 cup of oats. Best served with friends and family 😉
